International Songwriting/Composing Contest Announces January Winners

"Song of the Year", an International songwriting contest supporting VH-1s "Save the Music" Foundation, has announced it's January winners.

Meridian, MS (PRWEB) April 18, 2004--Native Seismic Anamoly, of "THE SEISMIC ANAMOLY PROJECT", recently received the honor of being named Finalist by the "Song of the Year" ( http://www.songoftheyear.com/ ) songwriting contest in the "Electronica" category for January, 2004. "Song of the Year" is an International songwriting contest supporting VH-1s "Save the Music" Foundation. The "Song of the Year" judges are some of the biggest names in the music industry, including many Grammy Award winners.

"Song of the Year" is elated to recognize Seismic Anamoly for his exceptional songwriting/composing ability with regards to his song "Subliminal". Seismo competed against songwriters from all over the world for this honor. When asked what inspired the song, Seismo commented that there was nothing particularly "special" involved in its' composure, just reflections of "nights gone by" within what were sometimes unfamiliar social situations.

Currently Seismo is concentrating on his Hard Rock/Metal projects, but he will continue to occasionally trek from the beaten path and have some fun with Electronica.

More information on "Subliminal" (and Seismo's other Electronica works) can be had by visiting his Electronica website, "THE SEISMIC ANAMOLY PROJECT", located on IC-MUSICMEDIA.COM. IC-MUSICMEDIA is operated by Seismo's friend in music, Mike Burn of Frankfurt, Germany, and his colleagues. The URL is: http://www.ic-musicmedia.com/seismicanamolyproject , where, by the way, you can download "Subliminal" and all 9 additional tunes Seismo has composed (that make up his CD "Electrifried") - TOTALLY FREE. Or, visit Seismo's Homepage at:
