Innovations in Healthcare Award Nominations Sought by April 23, 2004

The Adaptive Business Leaders (ABL) Organization encourages the leadership of California-based healthcare and life sciences companies to submit their nominations for the 2004 Innovations in Healthcare Award by Friday, April 23rd. The leaders of these companies, who have developed products or services which have improved the timely delivery of quality, cost-effective healthcare, will then be contenders for ABLs prestigious Abby" Award. This award will be presented on June 16, 2004, in Newport Beach, California.

Orange, CA (PRWEB) April 22, 2004 -- The Adaptive Business Leaders (ABL) Organization encourages the leadership of California-based healthcare and life sciences companies to submit their nominations for the 2004 Innovations in Healthcare Award by Friday, April 23rd. The leaders of these companies, who have developed products or services which have improved the timely delivery of quality, cost-effective healthcare, will then be contenders for ABLs prestigious Abby" Award.

On June 16th at the Sutton Place Hotel in Newport Beach, nine chief executives will be honored as the finalists at ABLs 6th Annual Innovations in Healthcare Awards and Event, where they will present their healthcare and information services, medical device and bio-technology companies innovations. Our past 15 ‘Abby winners have introduced innovations that have improved the delivery of quality healthcare in a wide spectrum of medical settings, truly making Americas healthcare better – and in many cases, delivered faster and cheaper, notes Mimi Grant, ABLs President.

Last years recipients of the Abby" Award were Joe Kiani, CEO of Masimo Corporation, a pulse oximetry monitoring platform; Jay Short, CEO of Diversa Corporation, a firm that helps rapidly discover and develop antibodies and drugs; and Adam Singer, CEO of IPC – The Hospitalist Company, a large hospital-based med group that enables patients to leave the hospital healthier, and sooner. Past recipients have included Don Earhart, CEO of I-Flow; John Voris, CEO of ePocrates; Julie Shimer, CEO of Vocera Communications; Andy Slavitt, CEO of HealthAllies; and Jeff Margolis, CEO of The TriZetto Group.
