Battling Bad Art With A Rocket Launcher

Have you ever been in a gallery, full of boring but expensive art? In his latest 3D Java web game, "Art Attack", computer artist Vincent Stahl works up the experience. Get your rocket launcher ready, battle tasteless alien robots - and be rewarded with fresh art of the new millennium!

Stuttgart, Germany (PRWEB) April 27, 2004--Surreal Computer Artist Vincent Stahl released a new 3D Java web game, about a gallery occupied by fierce and tasteless alien robots. It is your mission to free the gallery with your rocket launcher, and subsequently, to establish new images. Play the game instantly here:

"The art market has one primary rule", says the artist, "old pictures from dead artists = much value. There seems to be no other critera, no aspects of quality, or popularity ratings by viewers. The game gives one explanation - an alien force is responsible, placing old expensive pictures at every wall. But finally, the viewer can act against it!" The game is also an interactive 3D gallery to walk around; together with the unqiue light effects, and intense music written by the artist, it demonstrates the power of Sun Java(TM) contained within current browsers.

Art Attack is one of several multimedia productions from the artist's portfolio, comprising also surreal images, animations and short movies. His award-winning website, www.VincentStahl.com , demonstrates how 3D navigation and animation can be done already today, by using existing web standards (HTML, Java, Javascript) - running everywhere, compatible to every browser and operating system.

Vincent Stahl is a computer artist located in Germany, producing surreal images, electronic music, and interactive web presentations. Most of his art products are available through CafePress in San Leandro, California. Further media material, especially images suitable for printing, is available online at http://www.VincentStahl.com/press/ .
