Espresso Addicts are Paying Thousands to Get Their Fix

Although some will pay $5.00 for a cafe-style cappuccino, others will pay over $2,000 for the perfect cup of joe.

Closter, NJ (PRWEB) May 3, 2004 -- NJ based Jura-Capresso sells a new breed of Swiss-engineered espresso machines well suited for the fast paced U.S. market. Machines like the Jura-Capresso S9, which sells for just under $2,300, are rapidly replacing dust-collecting steam-powered espresso makers because of their ease of use and quick ready time.

These super-automatic espresso centers" now eliminate user error by automatically grinding coffee beans (at just the right fineness setting), then tamping the grounds(with just the right amount of pressure), and brewing just the right amount of water through the grounds. The machines even dispose of the puck (espresso-speak for a hunk of spent coffee grounds) and tell the user when it's time to rinse the unit and change the filter. No mess, no fuss, no guesswork. In addition, several models, like Jura-Capressos F9, come equipped with an electronic touch-pad, variable brewing temperature options, drink programmability, and an optional automatic milk frothing siphon.

One Capresso dealer, JL Hufford Coffee and Tea Company, has seen a whopping 90% growth rate in super-automatic espresso machine sales compared to last year's first quarter sales in the same category.

The entry level super-automatic espresso machine, Jura-Capressos C1300, retails for $949.00, and is available exclusively from authorized Capresso retailers and Internet dealers, like JL Hufford Coffee and Tea (http://www.jlhufford.com).

For additional information (including VHS cassettes on any of the super-automatic espresso centers mentioned herein) contact James Pappas at james@jlhufford.com.
