Venice, CA based SnapNPost.com launches a FREE, feature filled camera phone portal, offering personal and multi-user moblogs and photo galleries.

VENICE, CA (PRWEB) May 6, 2004 -- Venice, CA based SnapNPost.com recently launched a FREE camera phone portal, offering personal and multi-user moblogs and photo galleries.

The vast majority of camera phone pictures are never shared with friends and family. SnapNPost is the solution.

SnapNPost offers an easy, intuitive interface to create personal ‘moblogs and add captions and comments to pictures. Photos can be posted to the Internet directly from mobile phone handsets. Users of this free service can create private or public galleries and automatically notify their friends by email when a picture is posted.

Unlimited posting is available to all camera phone users, regardless of carrier. SnapNPost members can also email pictures to their galleries, and/or upload them from personal computers.

Features include themed photo boards, tools to enhance pictures, advanced privacy settings and online community interaction.

In 2003 84 million camera phones were sold worldwide versus 49 million compact digital cameras. This accounted for 16% of all handsets sold.

Investment bank UBS forecasts camera phone sales will rise to 44% of all mobile phones sold in 04 in the US.

In addition to moblogging, SnapNPost.com reviews new wireless technologies, mobile handsets and mobile carrier plans.

Moblogging is fun, creative and educational", say SnapNPost developer August Kleimo. The moblog appeal is unlimited from families to collectors, travelers, singles and students – moblogging will change the way we communicate."
