Spiderhost Announces Renewal of ESPN/Genesis Radio Agreement

New agreement will enable leading Orlando-based ISP to manage connectivity and web solutions for six ESPN radio stations across Florida.

(PRWEB) May 17, 2004--Spiderhost, Orlandos leading Internet Solutions Provider, announced the re-signing of a partnership agreement with ESPN Radio across central Florida. The agreement encompasses ESPNs stations in Orlando, Tampa and Melbourne, Florida: WLVU 1470 AM, WWBA 1040 AM, WIXL 1190 AM, WHOO 1080 AM, and WIXC 1060 AM.

Under the terms of the new one-year contract, ESPN Radio and Spiderhost will seek to create a new generation of sports-focused consumer access via the Internet. Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, but Spiderhost will provide the full suite of Internet-related services for all the stations. Including connectivity, web design and hosting, live streaming of the stations local daily programs, and IT consulting.

With this partnership, ESPN Radio will now move into its next stage, with state-of-the-art Internet data delivery and analysis tools, various support components and a business-to-business sports focus," said Dale Frohman, president at Spiderhost. These new tools will build upon the same kind of quality standards and representative samples that leading clients, sponsors and advertisers have come to expect from Spiderhost and ESPN."

The relationship began in early 2002, when Genesis Communications launched its original ESPN stations in Orlando.

The ESPN stations are a subsidiary of Genesis Communications, based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Earlier this month, Spiderhost announced that it had expanded its DSL offering across Florida.
