Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) June 4, 2004 -- Author Jacqueline Druga-Marchetti's new novel "The Christ Chronicles Part One - His Arrival" depicts the return of Jesus Christ to earth in an unexpected context. His mission is simple--in fact, he has none. But what begins as a 'just-to-see-what-happens' visit to earth turns into a comical and moving tale of belief and miracles. The novel can be purchased through Lulu.com (http://www.lulu.com) as an on-demand book in paperback or ebook formats at: http://www.lulu.com/writerspost

Jacqueline Druga-Marchetti lives in Pittsburgh, where in 1996 she founded The Writers Post, an outlet for emerging writers. Since then she has published twelve books, including the award-winning novel, The Shroud." Founder of Emerging Literary voices, she works with youth literacy programs and is currently the co-owner of Lets Be Frank Publishing (http://www.lbfbooks.com ).

In "The Christ Chronicles Part One," in a time of doubt on earth, Jesus Christ decides suddenly to return. His purpose is pure, His intentions are good, and mankind's fate does not hang in the balance. He chooses to return as an experiment to see if He can make a difference by walking the earth as an ordinary man. But can he walk the earth as an ordinary man? The first in a series, "The Arrival" sees Jesus enlist a group of misfits to aid Him in his earthly endeavors. Their encounters and missions are both moving and comical.

"This book is a ray of light in dark time. A true eye opener for the religiously blind, " Reverend Christopher Roman, Minister.

Druga-Marchetti sought out the on-demand publishing services of Lulu.com because of the controversial nature of her novel. "Lulu provides an open platform." Ms. Druga-Marchetti said. "One that wouldn't hold me back like other publishers."

Jacqueline Druga-Marchetti is a published author, and editor of The Writers Post Journal.

Lulu.com (http://www.lulu.com ) provides free self-publishing and on-demand publishing tools for books, ebooks, music, images, and calendars.
