SecuraComm® has teamed up with Blackthorn Security Advisory Group to better serve the Florida region.
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) June 13, 2004 -– SecuraComm, an independent security consulting and engineering firm located in Pittsburgh, has recently signed an affiliation with Chuck Patten, a principal consultant of Blackthorn SAG in Clearwater, Florida.
While other firms have been downsizing, SecuraComm has been growing. With its roots in Pittsburgh for 25 years, SecuraComm has business partners across the U.S, in Europe, South Africa and the Persian Gulf.
Patten was formerly a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service, Director of Investigation of the Summit County (OH) Prosecutors Office and the National Director of Security for Equity Office. He was also the Director of Security and Fire Life Safety with McGuire Thomas Partners in Los Angeles. He owned and operated Search First, Patten Security Management Consulting and Blackthorn Event Security.
Patten has experience in the high-rise industry which allows him to understand the challenges encountered in private property with public access. This includes: perimeter security, lobby security—ease of access balanced with disciplined and well structured security procedures – loading dock security, control of private contractors, and service employees. Patten also has a solid understanding of fire and life safety issues and emergency procedures, and he is an expert in event and concert security, consulting and providing specialized event security for MCA/Universal Concerts, NextStage Entertainment and the Cleveland Orchestra.
Patten adds to the growing list of affiliates of SecuraComm which now serve the Florida region in event and high-rises.
