Lladró Joins The Fight Against Breast Cancer

For the first time ever, Lladró, the renowned Spanish House of Porcelain, has joined forces with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in support of their cause.

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 18, 2004 -- For the first time ever, Lladró, the renowned Spanish House of Porcelain, has joined forces with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in support of their cause. Committed to raising at least $25,000.00, Lladró will donate ten percent (10%) of the suggested retail price of each Admiratio, a delicate porcelain sculpture from the innovative Humanitas Collection and Flowers of Peace, a special edition of the new scented candle, sold during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October 2004). Both items will feature special packaging promoting the cause. The initiative will also be supported by a national print advertising campaign.

·   Admiratio – Admiratio is one of eight sculptures in Lladrós new Humanitas Collection, a series of sculptures created as an homage to the yearnings and aspirations which form a common thread throughout all humankind. Admiratio depicts a woman in an introspective pose, reflecting upon the beauty of nature and life itself. Surrounded by the natural elements of water, earth and air, the sculpture is an expression of gratitude and admiration.

·   Flowers of Peace – Flowers of Peace is one of the six scented candles in Lladrós new Home Fragrance collection. Created in a light pink color, the candle features aromas of jasmine and rose, which serve to soothe the body and the mind, while filling your home with the light of hope.
