Sweet Cures Moves into Health Food Shops with New Cystitis Treatment

Waterfall D-Mannose, a natural and very effective treatment for E.coli-based cystitis and UTIs will soon be available in health food stores in the UK. This article also briefly explains the scientific basis of how Waterfall D-Mannose works.

York, UK (PRWEB) June 19, 2004 -- York-based suppliers of the greatly in demand cystitis and UTI cure, Waterfall D-Mannose, (an extract of larchwood) have made their move into health food stores in the UK after achieving great success selling their product online.

John Bremner, one of the partners behind Sweet Cures, confirmed that they are now taking orders from independent health food stores. "Until now, customers had to buy online, and that has worked very well for us, and that side of the business will continue, but there has been a demand for instant availability. Not everyone is online, so a lot of people have been missing out on our treatment, and they have been stuck with using antibiotics, with all the associated problems."

(Antibiotics are known to cause cumulative side effects in some patients, ranging from relatively mild thrush to severely disabling arthritis, fluorodosis, and worse.)

The scientific basis for using Waterfall D-Mannose is that E.coli, the cause of around 90% of bladder infections, is equipped with lectins that attach to the mannose receptors in the cells of the kidneys, bladder, and urinary tract. By supplying free mannose to the E.coli (Waterfall D-Mannose goes straight into the urine), the mannose receptors are occupied at a molecular level and the E.coli is flushed away by normal urination.

Anna Sawkins, the other Sweet Cures partner, stressed that it is not necessary to understand the cure. "We have vets who use it very successfully on cats and dogs, so there is no placebo effect. It is just something that works in a very logical and effective way. We get letters every day from grateful (human) customers thanking us for ending their cycle of infection and pain."

Leaflets and posters are available for shops, and Sweet Cures can do next working day delivery of all orders.
