(PRWEB) June 23, 2004 -- Iverson Language Associates, Inc. is celebrating a major milestone in its business relationship with Digi-Key Corporation: a one year anniversary and completion of a major project in which it managed the translation for Digi-Keys 1200-page print and online components catalog. The catalog, which was translated into German and Japanese, features over 400,000 electronic components from approximately 280 manufacturers.

Digi-Key entered into this business partnership with Iverson only after exhaustive research of translation and language companies throughout North America. Iverson was selected because of their commitment to quality and efficiency in production processes. These initial projects were critical to Digi-Key's initial success in entering foreign markets such as Japan and Germany. They have been essential in the early success we have found in building our business and brand identity. Quite simply, we would not have enjoyed such success without the strong business partnership that has been forged between Digi-Key and Iverson Language Associates." - Kevin Brown, Director of Advertising, Digi-Key Corporation.

The catalog project was an intense, four-month job for Iversons team of project managers, reviewers, and desktop publishers. The Iverson team managed the project using the companys documented project management and quality process. The team used SDLX translation memory to maintain consistency throughout the project, control costs and manage delivery time.

In addition to the online and print catalog, Iverson also translated the terms and conditions section of the Digi-Key website. This section was translated into 11 languages, and plans are to increase to as many as 14 languages before the end of the year.

Our relationship with Digi-Key has been an example of the real possibilities of partnering with a value-oriented client", says Steve Iverson, President of Iverson Language Associates, Inc.
