Send Your Fat Packing, Go Fatpacking

This July, 6-8 people will go on a 2 week adventure vacation, eat all they want and still lose some extra weight. It sounds like an outright lie, but not with Fatpacking. Fatpacking is body composition change via backpacking. It's unique, it's exercise, it's a wilderness vacation.

Hull, MA (PRWEB) June 24, 2004 -- From July 22 – August 6, 2004, 6-8 nature lovers (maybe you) who are 15-50 pounds overweight will thru-hike the 125 mile Northville-Placid Trail in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York. The trip will study the effects of backpacking on weight, body composition, respiration, pulse, blood pressure, and a host of other health related metrics.

Participants will not be restricted to any austere diet or eating plan. Fatpacking believes that eating heartily is important in keeping your body at peak performance level for the rigors of backpacking. We postulate that weight will still be dropped even if hikers eat all they want.

Fatpacking believes that participants will also reap a host of ancillary exercise induced benefits. These include kicking caffeine, stopping smoking, reducing stress level, and lowering blood pressure, not to mention fun.

This trip will be led by Wilderness First Responders Steve Silberberg and Julia Silvis, who hold degrees from MIT and Harvard respectively.

Anyone who is interested in participating in this trip (hiking) or chronicling it (Article / TV / Film), please contact Fatpacking as soon as possible. Spots are available but space is limited.
