New Program Extends Support for Exabyte Products

RESET extends factory-level support, service and replacement parts for Exabyte's legacy products that in many cases are no longer supported by the OEM. These services will extend the life of in-place servers, workstations, LANs and SANs that utilize Exabyte tape drives, and help defer the cost and business disruption of replacing systems.

Simi Valley, CA (PRWEB) June 25, 2004 -- RESET, The Parts Support Company, announced that they have further expanded their Exabyte factory-level services and product offerings to provide support, service and replacement parts for Exabyte's legacy products. RESET is filling the void in the marketplace left by the OEM and other support companies that no longer support these products. According to John Puccini, RESET's CEO, "We have always been the marketplaces primary source for Exabyte tape drive repair and replacement services, now we are proud to offer products and services for virtually every Exabyte product. Our on-going commitment to support Exabyte products stems from a very long-standing relationship that enables RESET to perform services that mirror and actually improve upon the OEM standards."

Exabyte, an industry innovator since 1987, is the recognized value-leader in tape storage and automation solutions for servers, workstations, LANs and SANs. Exabyte's drives and automation products are rugged, robust and reliable solutions for users of LTO (Ultrium) and MammothTape.

For additional information on products and services, RESET can be contacted at 805-584-4900 or visit www.reset-inc.com .

RESET has over 30 years of experience in the computer, telecommunication, healthcare and electronics industries providing quality repairs, dependable logistics support, controlled warehousing and flexible distribution services. RESETs ISO certification reinforces the company's principles of not handling failed parts from a "repair" standpoint, rather from a "manufacturing" standpoint. Not fixing a part, rather re-manufacturing that part to meet, or in many cases exceed OEM specifications, often replacing individual components with newer, next-generation ones that will outperform the original components and improve the overall integrity of the part.
