Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) June 29, 2004 -- Alexander Liapin, "The Guitar" of the Russian and European rock music will perform for the first time in Pittsburgh on July 2nd, 2004. Alexander is one of the best known internationally Russian rock musicians. He played together with the musicians like Steve Wonder, Keith Emerson and Alex Acuna. With the personal invitation of Sir Paul McCartney, he taught a class of guitar in the Liverpool's Art Institute (LIPA). He also performed with Crosby, Still and Nash, Eurythmics and Christopher Cross.

His name is synonymous with the various applications of his guitar- rhythm, solo, leader, sound source for the synthesizer experiments. After his graduation with honors from the class of violin and jazz guitar from the Mussorgsky Musical Academy in St. Petersburg, classical music has lost this talented kid forever, while the rising world of rock and jazz in Russia acquired a loyal Knight of the Guitar, who sacrificed a lot for the right to play and live without censorship.

Alexander played in the most famous Russian rock bands. His name is joined with the name "Aquarium". He played and recorded with "DDT" and Sergey Kuryekhin's "Pop Mechanics". Liapin also created and disbanded his own bands; such as "Tele-U", "The Experiments of Alexander Lyapin" and the still functioning creative project "Staya" ("The Pack").

Alexander Liapin lives in the United States for almost two years. He is writing music for Las Vegas shows managed by Celine Dion's creative team members.
