Bye, Bye Botox!: A New Anti-Wrinkle Product Happens by Chance

One more discovery can be added to the list of happy, scientific accidents. OHT Peptide-3, developed by Utah-based, 1-800-Patches, Inc., is a new, multi-layered, dermal therapy cream that many are calling The most important advance in skin care since Botox."

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) July 11, 2004 -- Luck, chance, and accidents have played leading roles in countless scientific discoveries, such as Penicillin, Post-It® Notes, and even Velcro®. Now, one more discovery can be added to that list of happy, scientific accidents. OHT Peptide-3, developed by Utah-based, 1-800-Patches, Inc., is a new, multi-layered, dermal therapy cream that many are calling The most important advance in skin care since Botox."

How Did It Happen?
The path to OHT Peptide-3 began with a quest to use the finest ingredients, as well as cutting-edge science, to create a revolutionary anti-wrinkle cream, as well as a separate stretch mark cream. Through a labeling mishap at a third-party medical facility, both creams were accidentally combined during a clinical trial. The result was a skin care miracle.

Test Subjects Get The Glow"
Clinicians called it The Glow", a youthful, rosy-cheeked aura that found overwhelming approval from test subjects. The laboratory mix-up had turned into a blessing for people with aging skin.
Scientists still needed to understand why this was happening, though.

Upon reviewing the results, they discovered that the inadvertent concoction had a two-fold impact. While the stretch mark formula worked to heal the surface of the skin, the anti-wrinkle formula actually relaxed the skin from within. The wonder cream, now known as OHT Peptide-3, actually repaired skin from both the top and bottom, delivering an all-out assault on the aging process.

Peptides: The Wrinkle Fighters
When scientists examined the wrinkle-fighting formula, they turned to an old ally-naturally occurring peptides.

Peptides have always played a vital role in the skins healing process. Found naturally in the body, these proteins signal when repair is needed. In the two separate formulas, three of the following super-powerful peptides were isolated that, when brought together, formed a truly potent anti-aging cream:

· Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3: clinically proven to regenerate the skins upper layers by stimulating collagen production and thickening the epidermis.

· Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-3: suppresses the bodys production of interleukins, chemical messengers that trigger inflammation.

· Acetyl Hexapeptide-3: reduces wrinkles by disrupting nerve signals, functionally relaxing tense muscles beneath the dermis, while smoothing the overlying skin.
