Why did Famous Artist Claude Julian appear in Being Single Magazine?

Famed Artist Claude Julian comes out of retirement to grace the pages of Being Single magazine as a model.

(PRWEB) July 27, 2004 -- Bonita Bennett, publisher of "Being Single" America's Leading Lifestyle Magazine for Enlightened Living (June/July edition 2004 Vol. XXII - No. 8) selected Claude Julian for his trendsetting sense of style as a famous artist. After nine years as a retired runway/print model, Claude Julian is back. With the tremendous buzz of Julian's recent fashion spotlight requests have poured in for his modeling availability. He has already completed several photo shoots in preparation of completing his new composite.

With more than a hundred catwalk fashion shows to his credit in Chicago, Julian is proud of walking the catwalk in London, New York, Baltimore, Los Angeles, and at the 1992 and '93 Bronner Bros. International beauty Show in Atlanta (one of the largest cosmetology conventions in the world).

In 1991-93, he graced the catwalk at the prestigious Congressional Black Caucus Spouses Fashion Show in Washington D.C. and in 1995 he "hit the catwalk" in seventy-five American cities with Vogue-Esquire Models of Chicago as they presented their 37th Annual Sepia Fashion Revue. Claude is the "Smooth Operator" in a national ad for Schiltz Malt Liqour, featured model in the national ad for "Ultra Star" by Johnson Products, Inc., a former make-up artist for Black Opal Color Cosmetics, and was the professional commentator in the 1997 and '98 fashion show sponsored by GE (General Electric Co.) in Washington D.C.

Being Single Magazine was founded in 1982 by best-selling author and noted relationship expert, Bonita Bennett. Being Single Magazine headquartered in Chicago is read monthly by thousands of singles across the country and is pulished by HarBon Publishing. For the past twenty years, Being Single Magazine has developed a pattern of addressing issues of particular interest and concern for a segmented audience that makes up a huge percentage of America's population. According th the U.S. Census Bureau, there are well over 60,000,000 singles, all races, between the ages of 20-54, men and women.

One of the main goals of Being Single Magazine is to destory the myths and imagery much associated with the single lifestyle, which projects singles as reckless social swingers, who live and breathe for "a good time" and/or frivolous pursuits. They offer a unique, in-depth look at topics relevant to the lifestyle of singles everywhere, that are rarely found on the pages of other magazines.

Claude Julian who is single agreed to appear in the magazine because of the quality work of the magazine. Please check the website for more insight www.beingsinglemag.com

With Julian's creative focus always looking for new challenges, in 2004 he has created five reality show concepts and penned a screenplay titled "TIME TO MODEL" that is being shopped in Hollywood.
