Minnesota Malayalee Association (MMA) announced that Dr. K.J Yesudas, the best-known Indian singer and India's national pride will be conducting a light music concert in various Indian languages.
(PRWEB) July 30, 2004 -- Minnesota Malayalee Association (MMA), is pleased to announce that Dr. K.J Yesudas, the best-known Indian singer and India's national pride will be conducting a light music concert in various Indian languages in the Twin Cities. The event is organized in association with other local Indian associations. The concert will be on August 21st 2004, 6:30PM at the OShaughnessy at the college of St. Catherine in St. Paul.
Paul Kuttikadan, President of MMA and Kurian Benjamin, Vice President and Chairman of the event committee hope that this will be one of the largest gatherings of the Indian community in Minnesota. Around 1800 people are expected to attend the show. The association hopes to conduct similar events in the future also.
Tickets for the concert are on sale now and are available from Ticket Master and also other local Indian businesses. Ticket prices start at $20 for general seats to $100 for sponsor seats.

About Yesudas:
Yesudas received his first recognition at the tender age of nine. He enchanted music lovers all over the world with recording over 40,000 songs and winning scores of accolades including the coveted Padmashree honor and seven Indian National Awards for the best playback singer.
Yesudas is the recipient of thirty-four Indian State Awards: sixteen from Kerala, eight from Tamil Nadu, five from Karnataka, four from Andra Pradesh and one from Bengal.
