Monarch Air pulled out of the financial downfall of 9/11 and succeeded in opening a third location – Monarch Air Dallas Executive – at Dallas Executive Airport in South Dallas on June 5, 2004.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) July 31, 2004 -- Since 9/11 the airline industry has been defined by bankruptcies, layoffs, and pay reductions. Although the market for commercial pilots has weakened, people still have a passion to learn to fly and some flight schools, such as Dallas based Monarch Air, are still thriving.

Monarch Air pulled out of the financial downfall of 9/11 and succeeded in opening a third location – Monarch Air Dallas Executive – at Dallas Executive Airport in South Dallas on June 5, 2004. Trey Sawtelle, president of Monarch Air and son of the founders, saw an opportunity to grow and took a chance, The City of Dallas is renovating the airport and it is a great platform. It was an advantageous decision for us to expand in the area and the operation is already showing positive results and feedback."

The Sawtelle family established Monarch Air in 1986, when the husband and wife pilot duo – Ray and Sheila Sawtelle – embarked to develop a safe and professional facility for individuals to learn to fly. Since then Monarch Air has grown into an Integrated Cessna Center featuring new Cessna aircraft sales and maintenance on various aircrafts from single-engine planes to large business jets, such as the Citation X.

Monarch Air attributes its growth to new Cessna certifications, a renovated web site campaign and their dedicated employees. We have been very fortunate with our personnel over the years. We owe a great part of our growth and success to these individuals who share our dream and dedication," Trey explains of the Monarch Air family.

In the Fall of 2003 these Monarch Air employees joined the ranks of only a few aviation centers to be Cessna certified in parts, sales, maintenance and flight training. This prompted Monarch Air to contact Dallas web design company, Level-Ten Design, to create a web site that reflected their new achievements and their professional, safety-first attitude towards flight.

The new site was a profitable investment for Monarch Air. We have definitely seen an increase in our professional program due to national exposure from our site. The week after our site launched we had a new student enroll in our flight program who chose us because of our site. The site paid for itself with his enrollment," Trey reports.

In addition to the new Dallas Executive site Monarch Air has two other locations at McKinney Municipal Airport and Addison Airport. All three locations feature aircraft sales, maintenance and flight training. To learn more visit http://www.monarchair.com .
