Amy Knowles, Curator of Swirls of Color, has a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts in Interior Design from New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York. She also studied at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, Philadelphia College of Art and The Shelter Institute in Bath, Maine.
Amy was an Interior Designer for more than 30 Years and a sales representative to the commercial business community. As such she has specified and purchased art for numerous corporations and private residences. One of her special interests includes the coordination of space relationships, color and texture; important elements of the design process. Putting this education and experience to work serving the broad art and gifts wholesale, institutional and business decoration markets satisfies a long held desire, she said.
