ATLANTA, GA (PRWEB) August 6, 2004 -- Enterprise Data Management Solutions (EDMS) announces release of Syndix v1.0, the first application that uses mobile cellular devices to provide real-time statistical information to desktop PCs. Using Cellular Integrated Data Management (CIDM) technology developed by EDMS, Syndix gives managers the ability to ‘watch their employees while generating real-time statistical information on a desktop computer.

We realize there is a major problem with tracking productivity and employee efficiency today", said Chris Horne, President and CEO. Syndix provides a way for managers to get a real grasp on the problem and hold employees accountable with visible facts." Horne added.

Syndix, primarily marketed towards the hotel industry, is used to track the time it takes for housekeepers to clean rooms and generates reports for managers giving average times throughout the day for each housekeeper. Syndix is also used with the hotels engineering department tracking maintenance requests for meeting and guest rooms.

Established in 2003, Enterprise Data Management Solutions (www.edmscorp.com) is the pioneer of cellular tracking software integrated with real-time desktop reporting. The Atlanta-based Information Technology firm developed a new technology (CIDM) that uses cellular handheld devices as terminals to transmit location and statistical information used for reporting without the need of 802.11.
