ATLANTA, GA (PRWEB) August 5, 2004 -- The leader in on-demand CD/DVD creation and fulfillment, SwiftCD® (www.SwiftCD.com) has announced an exciting array of new and expanded services to better improve performance and serve customers. A successful branch of DigitalSwift Corporation, SwiftCD has unveiled several new and improved support options for its customers, including such features as Customer 'Self Serve' Order Tracking, an expanded UPS® Tracking capability and reporting, enhanced Vendor and Customer Support and a robust XML Web Service to accompany the existing HTTP post interface.

Improved Customer Support

Our company's growth is a direct result of our dedication to our customers, and of our efforts to deliver robust, customizable, on-demand CD and DVD releases to companies and individuals worldwide.
SwiftCD's Home Page and Vendor Login areas have been enhanced and streamlined with new and improved features to serve customers at the click of a mouse. The latest vendor enhancements give SwiftCD customers even more options when updating their contents and packaging, as well as new tracking and reporting capabilities.

Enhanced Orders Process

SwiftCD's existing HTTP API continues to be enhanced, and a completely new Microsoft® .NET-based XML Web Service interface has been added for customer use, and further enhances the flexibility and capability of the SwiftCD order transmission process.

Expanded Tracking and Shipping

Meanwhile, SwiftCD's new and expanded shipping capabilities mean that the company's Daily Shipping Reports (a regular feature to help customers manage their accounts) now include tracking numbers wherever applicable.

In addition, in each customer's Vendor Area on the SwiftCD website, the "Track CDs" function now also includes United Parcel Service (UPS®) tracking numbers which are hotlinked to the UPS website (www.ups.com), and which include specific tracking information for each shipment. SwiftCD is proud to ship all orders securely and speedily worldwide via UPS or the U.S. Postal Service. Customs forms and VAT forms are supported and used when necessary.

"In addition to our new features, and streamlined vendor and customer services, SwiftCD's income has expanded more than 200 percent per year since its founding in 2000," comments Jason Foodman, Chief Executive Officer. "Our company's growth is a direct result of our dedication to our customers, and of our efforts to deliver robust, customizable, on-demand CD and DVD releases to companies and individuals worldwide."

SwiftCD: A High-Tech Success Story

Thanks to an ever-expanding string of successes for companies worldwide, SwiftCD's client base continues to grow daily. And thanks to its state-of-the-art on-demand services, SwiftCD is changing the face of the software, business, and media industries, enabling companies worldwide to expand their revenue model without incremental investment, inventory or added customer support.

With the dynamic on-demand model SwiftCD provides, every CD or DVD can be individually produced to order, according to the needs of the individual customer. SwiftCD also handles all aspects of order fulfillment including online tracking, reporting and customer service. The company can also replicate, warehouse, pick from inventory on-demand, and ship products other than CDs and DVDs – such as promotional T-shirts or items shipped with certain orders to promote a current special or upgrade, or simply as stand-alone products.

Meanwhile, SwiftCD's "Build-to-Order" process, which enables a user to assemble a compact disc composed of user-selected contents while browsing a website, is so unique that the company recently announced the filing of a utility patent application to protect the process.

SwiftCD will be exhibiting at the upcoming European Software Conference, in Strasbourg, France, from November 6-7, 2004. For more information, please visit http://www.euroeconference.org for details.
