"Into the Blue" synopsis: A passageway has opened into a realm meant to be visited only after death: The Blue.

Novelist Jake Conroy dies and is resuscitated, shattering the veil that has blinded him from the blue and finding a companion in a ghost named Spoons.

They retreat to Texas' Bolivar Peninsula and are joined by Jessie, a stripper on the run from Shank Thorbern...Lacy, Jake's mystifying editor...and Dale, his longtime friend and agent.

With Spoons as his guide, Jake embarks upon a journey to uncover the ancient truth that threatens everyone close to him.

Isolated on a stormy beach, they brace themselves against the evil masquerading as Shank. And from a vast chamber filled with the strength of centuries, Jake prepares to lead them all Into the Blue.

"Into the Blue" is a supernatural thriller set on the Texas Gulf Coast. The novel features vibrant characters and action-packed story.

The San Francisco Chronicle exclaims:

"Even more than most veteran authors, The Herndons have mastered the art of turning out a book you just can't put down."

The San Francisco Chronicle's review of "Into the Blue" will be featured in September 2004, upon the novel's official release.

Currently, signed copies of "Into the Blue" can be pre-ordered by visiting www.HerndonBooks.com or by emailing the authors at SignedCopy@HerndonBooks.com .
