Boston-based dentists, Dr. Jack D. Rosenberg and Dr. Steven D. Spitz, have developed a groundbreaking laser surgery technique to place dental implants (tooth replacements) without cutting, bleeding or stitches, and with minimal discomfort. Dr. Rosenberg and Dr. Spitz are the first dentists in the nation to perform this type of laser implant surgery with the Waterlase® laser, the only FDA approved laser for this procedure, instead of a scalpel, the traditional method. The Rosenberg-Spitz method reduces pain during surgery as well as dramatically improves healing time and post-operative discomfort.

BOSTON, MA (PRWEB) August 19, 2004 -- Replacing missing teeth through dental surgery with nominal Novocain and minimal blood is now a reality. With the understanding that many individuals have an intolerable fear of dentists and dental procedures, Boston-based dentists, Dr.

The new method reduces pain during surgery as well as dramatically improves healing time and post-operative discomfort.

The Rosenberg-Spitz technique will especially benefit fearful patients who will appreciate the comfort, quick healing time, and ease our procedure provides,” said Dr. Spitz. Dental implants are a great option for many patients, and with our technique, patients heal faster and virtually pain-free.” Dr. Spitz estimates that approximately 50 percent of implant patients are eligible for the Rosenberg- Spitz laser implant technique.

I delayed having the surgery for so many years. Dr. Spitz finally persuaded me to try this new laser surgery,” says Rob Braunstein, one of the first patients of this laser dental technique to replace a missing tooth. Its one of the best decisions I ever made. I smile more every day, and I am no longer afraid of the dentists chair.”

Drs. Rosenberg and Spitz are co-founders of the Institute of Advanced Laser Dentistry in Burlington, MA (www.AdvancedLaserDentistry.net). They have also created and developed ‘The PerfectFit Surgical Guide (patent pending), a template used with the Waterlase laser to place dental implants to the precise size and positioning required by the patient. Both Drs. Rosenberg and Spitz teach and lecture extensively throughout the country and abroad.

The Rosenberg-Spitz technique is an amazing time-saver,” said Dr. John Graeber of East Hanover, NJ. The first day of using the procedure, we completed all surgeries an hour ahead of schedule. Of the first three patients, only one needed 2 Advil for post-op pain!”

Dr. Jack D. Rosenberg has an advanced specialty in General Dentistry and is located in Burlington, MA. Dr. Steven D. Spitz, is a Prosthodontist and founder/owner of Smileboston Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry located in Kenmore Square. Dr. Spitz and Smileboston were awarded the Improper Bostonians Bostons Best” award in 2003. For more information please visit www.smileboston.net.
