Corning, NY (PRWEB) August 22, 2004 -- From the staff at www.CottageArtisans.com - due to recent events and the devastation to the state of Florida resulting from hurricanes charley, frances and now Ivan. Will begin charging for all auctions posted to our site. The fees will be low and reasonable.
Jim Davis of Adnetsoftware - added that 90% of receipts will be donated to 3 charities in the state of Florida. The charities that have been chosen are as follows: The Salvation Army will receive 40% and the united way and the american red cross will each receive 25%. The remaining 10% will be used for administrative costs.
A charities donate (Paypal button) will be provided on the home page for all who wish to contribute without auctioning works of arts or crafts. Approx 97% of this donation will go to the charities selecte, after payment of PayPals transaction fees.
The amounts donated and to which charities will be updated weekly on the home page of www.cottageartisans.com.
After the charity auction ends any artist or craftsman who joins to help us to support the victims of hurricane charley, frances and Ivan by placing their works of art or craft up for auction, between now and October 31, 2004 will receive and additional $50 in free auction credit to their accounts plus an additional $20 credit for each customer they have referred.
Collectors and galleries are asked to visit our site and view the fantastic artwork placed up for auction.
We ask that all online auctions sites - contribute a portion of their online auctions to the victims as well.
