WASHINGTON, DC (PRWEB) August 27, 2004 -- Senator John Kerry, the Democratic Presidential nominee, praised the award winning book Not Yet At Ease: Photographs of America's Continuing Engagement With the Vietnam War. He said: "I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate receiving my very own copy of Not Yet At Ease. Your book is a unique narrative of the war and its lasting affects. It will be a treasured part of my collection."

Debate revolving around the Vietnam War plays a central role in the Presidential contest. Solid, unbiased information about the Vietnam War is in the public interest.

Dr. David Chananie, the author, says: "I am pleased to have Senator Kerry's endorsement. Not Yet At Ease helps to keep the flame alive for our veterans. It lets vets show their family and friends what they did. It gives people who want to learn about the Vietnam War a fair and balanced presentation.

Anyone who reads Not Yet At Ease will learn lessons from the Vietnam War that are so applicable today. For example, `...the enemy should be constantly harried and denied any sanctuaries...'"

Writer's Digest awarded Not Yet At Ease an honorable mention for nonfiction in its 10th annual international contest. Similarly, the Publishers Marketing Association judged it among three finalists for cover design in the 2003 Benjamin Franklin Awards.

Not Yet At Ease: Photographs of America's Continuing Engagement With the Vietnam War, tells the story of all sides of the conflict. Over 150 photographs show the agony of war wounds, the triumph over an enemy, the weight of the world on the shoulders of a G.I. after completing a mission, the grim determination of Vietnamese soldiers ... the journalists killed covering the war ... the whirlwind of sorrows and pride running fingers across a name on the Wall ... and the struggle of Vietnam veterans to keep the memories alive, through such events as the Rolling Thunder motorcycle run to the Wall.

Dr. David Chananie is an expert on the Vietnam War. He predicted a guerrilla war in Iraq. He predicted female soldiers would be killed and their children orphaned. He estimated the cost of the war and its likely impact on the economy. He predicted the rise in interest rates. He predicted gas would cost more at the filling station.
