(PRWEB) August 31, 2004 -- Pomm traveled to New York and presented her masterpiece, "Unspoken Courage" to the New York City Fire Department.
One print of "Unspoken Courage" now hangs at the NYFD headquarters and another hangs at the training academy on the three-story Memorial Wall which is a tribute to the 9/11 NYFD fallen heroes. Plaques of the deceased firefighters surround "Unspoken Courage". As Pomm's painting is the only piece selected for this memorial, "Unspoken Courage" has become the official 9/11 tribute painting.
"Unspoken Courage" now hangs in over 35 Fire Stations in New York City and Manhattan. It represents courage and unity for all. It honors bravery beyond expectation.
"This is truly an honor. Unspoken Courage pays homage to the 343 brave firefighters who gave their lives on September 11, 2001. Men and women of all ages are touched by it," explains Monica Morrison, studio director of Pomm's Art Studio in Glendale, California, "People come to the studio just to enjoy the ambience of Pomm's art. I have never seen so much persistent admiration of any artist's work. It's amazing."
