We must raise awareness of click fraud, and find new ways to help identify and stop it, millions of dollars are being lost and jobs are at risk because of it."

Toronto, ON, Canada (PRWEB) August 30, 2004 -- Inviplex, Inc, a leading security developer confirmed today its ClickRisk service will launch on September 1st, 2004. We must raise awareness of click fraud, and find new ways to help identify and stop it, millions of dollars are being lost and jobs are at risk because of it." explained Adam Sculthorpe, founder and CEO of Inviplex, Inc.

An SEC filing by Google cites We have regularly paid refunds related to fraudulent clicks and expect to do so in the future." And it is on the increase Some analysts believe the problem may account for more than 18% of cost per click advertising. The losses are huge and marketers are paying for it." Sculthorpe continued.

ClickRisk is the product of many years experience and research into online fraud prevention, I feel strongly compelled to let people know this fraud is widespread, this activity can put innocent people out of pocket and they will have no clue why it happened. This is an industry related problem, we need to work together and help find new ways to overcome it." said Sculthorpe.

The service raises awareness of click fraud and industrial sabotage, both of which are far more widespread than is generally understood. ClickRisk identifies a clients risk profile and analyzes web server data, complex analysis can help determine whether clicks are genuine or not. Sculthorpe explains that We are highly motivated to help resolve this complex problem, awareness is the first step in making it happen, Internet marketers need to know how the fraud manifests itself and why."

Sculthorpes experience in the security industry has led him to create this new service My experience with solving security problems in diverse industries has played a large part in my need to highlight this common fraud. The impact on business is significant and most people are completely blind to it."

Business surveying has revealed there is an urgent need for control and visibility when it comes to click-through advertising We need to monitor integrity and put tracking of potential fraud into the hands of the paying customer, the advertising providers simply do not have access to their clients equipment and therefore cannot accurately determine whether the click-through is a real one or a fake." said Sculthorpe.

While the industry transitions from analog, to interactive digital media the issues surrounding advertising integrity will continue to gain importance, and cause concern for Internet marketers. If a business spends marketing dollars on a cost per click basis they need to know a genuine person is clicking their ad, not a computer program. We can help to resolve that issue with intelligent risk management strategies." Sculthorpe says.

We urge business owners to take a serious look into the integrity of their Internet advertising campaigns and review our free discussion paper." concludes Sculthorpe.
