Powerful Technology released to tackle phishing attacks before they occur.

SAN DIEGO, CA (PRWEB) September 1, 2004 -- Secure Science Corporation announced today version 2.0 release of their Daylight Fraud Prevention (DFP) technology suite targeting the elimination of "phishers" within government, e-commerce, and finance market segments. DFP is the only proactive security tool available to detect, track and stop phishers. It provides a key component for the re-establishment of confident on-line e-commerce by offering real-time, zero-minute detection and identification of phishers and associated fraudulent activities.

DFP employs powerful technology that transparently resides on a company's network to automatically detect and prevent phishing attacks before they occur, identify targeted victims, deter future attacks and track those that are responsible for the act. The optional Secure Legal Action Management (SLAM) system provides notifications that are sent to a central clearinghouse for investigative matters. Utilizing a distributed incident response network, SLAM allows for the unprecedented multi-directional collaboration between law enforcement, internet providers, forensic investigators, and financial institutions. This enhances the resources, expertise, and response time necessary to bridge the gap between initial detection and legal enforcement.

"Daylight pro-actively addresses the phishing problem and protects customers. We are very excited to introduce it to the market at such a critical time," says Lance James, CTO of Secure Science Corporation. "This technology will save billions of dollars by stopping phishers and identifying who they are. This is the tool that will solidify consumer confidence in e-commerce as a whole."

Through the use of unique classification, forensics, and profiling techniques, phishing groups can be readily tracked and identified. These techniques, developed exclusively by Secure Science Corporation, have enabled them to become an internationally recognized security leader, working with global law enforcement organizations to address cyber crime.
