- SSL/TLS support. When used with a secure FTP client (on any platform), users can transfer files with 168-bit 3DES encryption.
- Deflate transmission mode (MODE Z). Co-developed by NSC, this open standard FTP extension can increase network throughput and decrease transfer times by compressing file and system data.
- MD5 support. Users can verify file contents by checking the MD5 hash, a digital signature unique to each file.
- UTF-8 support. Extended character sets can be used for file system and FTP communications. New real-time display. View user activity (including security status) and server statistics in real time.

ShareIt FTP Pro 1.7 is available immediately through the NSC software store (http://www.nsctech.com) and other online resellers for a suggested retail price of $49.95 USD. A time limited trial version is also available from the same locations. The software requires a Microsoft Pocket PC 2000, 2002 or Windows Mobile device with an ARM or XScale processor and 1 megabyte or more of storage space.
