The BBC has listed our young UK crafts web directory with the following description "Perfect site for the craft mad. Features a vast easy-to-search directory of shops, books, sites and courses"
(PRWEB) September 10, 2004 -- Our Background: www.ukcraftwebsites.co.uk was started in November 2003. The websites lists UK craft website by category or user search term.
We have now received well over 160,000 page views and about 65,000 visitors since November of last year.
The point of the directory is to purely promote UK crafts. The website charges a small fee that we put straight back into adverting the site thus advertising each site that it listed on the directory. The fee is static for 12months and includes up to 4 links from the websites at one time. We list the most popular craft sites that are listed be using a click counter. We are looking to constantly expand and improve our promotional craft directory by investing not only our money but our highly developed SEO skills.
The entail setup/investment of the craft directory was carried out by 0103media. Our aim for this craft directory project is to make it into one of the best craft resources in the world whilst helping people along the way.
We hope that within two or three years the website directory will be large enough to bring in a small profit but we are happy just helping others for now.
