Internet divorce company continues to grow
(PRWEB) September 10, 2004 -- Divorce-Online the Internet divorce service founded in May 2000 by family lawyer Mark Keenan (36) has processed its 15,000th divorce this week and following this expansion is moving to larger premises in Swindon on October 1st from offices they occupied in Abingdon.
The service which started in the spare room of family lawyer Mark Keenan has seen explosive growth since it began operations with more and more couples choosing to use it's low cost online services over the traditional high cost solicitor.
The service receives 40% of its business from word of mouth with the remainder coming from users searching on websites such as Google Msn and Yahoo.
When we started the service we just helped people with their divorce proceedings, but we have expanded to be able to provide agreed financial orders, separation and prenuptial agreements as well as many other low cost services relating to family law".
The company now employs 4 people as well as subcontractors who assist in the drafting work.
The growth of broadband and e-commerce in general has been a major factor in people using the service according to Mark Keenan, and the entry of Tesco into the online legal market proves that the model has worked and will continue to be successful.
The website has developed relationships with Solicitors, Barristers, counsellors and financial advisers over the years which allows us to be a one stop shop for people going through divorce to make it a very valuable resource.
Mark is often called upon to give media interviews and comment when divorce related issues are raised in the media.
