Kozio I/O Engine allows users to configure and execute multiple threads of I/O operations to verify the performance and validity of hardware systems under heavy loads. I/O Engine is configured via command line arguments or inputted through script files to emulate various loads while exercising multiple I/O interconnects with minimal overhead. I/O Engine and kDiagnostics require no additional software, operating systems or drivers, providing a minimal, clean environment for isolating a design's true performance. I/O Engine is ideal for stressing the system while testing data validity and completing certification testing. No host is required to generate I/O operations, and no target devices are required, although they can be used.
