Audio Damage, Inc. released their second product, Ratshack Reverb, an effect plugin for VST hosts on Macintosh OSX and Windows XP. Ratshack Reverb is a detailed emulation of a vintage analog delay unit.
(PRWEB) September 12, 2004 -- Audio Damage, Inc. is proud to announce the release of its newest product, the Ratshack Reverb VST plug-in. Ratshack Reverb is a detailed emulation of the Realistic Electronic Reverb, everybody's first effects unit. From the user interface, which follows the original in every way, on down to the quirks of its operation, Audio Damage has faithfully modeled the Realistic unit down to the most minute detail.
As anyone who has owned the actual unit knows, the original is not a reverb at all, but rather an analog "bucket-brigade" delay. The Audio Damage emulation mirrors the sound of the unit precisely, and even includes the extreme input distortion obtainable by running a line-level signal in to the microphone input. From subtle vocal doubling to extreme runaway feedback, the Ratshack Reverb is a Swiss Army knife of lo-fi effects.
Ratshack Reverb has an MSRP of US$29.99, and is available from the Audio Damage website, http://www.audiodamage.com as a digital download purchase.
