According to FilmStew.com Chairman John Culton, WGUP is a joint venture with Gordon Meyer of Meyer Multimedia Entertainment and Nadine Hamdan of Its All About Me Entertainment. FilmStew has been producing and syndicating entertainment news segments for radio and television for the past two years. Creating WGUP is the logical next step in our growth," explained Culton.
WGUP will produce and distribute entertainment product in a variety of media, including online video streaming, radio, and television beginning with broadcast and Internet versions of the prestigious Hollywoods Master Storytellers (HMS) series. Hollywoods Master Storytellers, created by Meyer and produced by Meyer and Hamdan, showcases some of Hollywoods most successful filmmakers in a live forum moderated by former CNN entertainment reporter Dennis Michael. Past Storytellers include Academy Award winning writer / director James Cameron, actor / director George Clooney, actor / producer Pierce Brosnan and Academy Award winning screenwriter and best-selling author Sidney Sheldon.
The Worlds Greatest Unknown Producers is currently packaging HMS from our growing library of filmed interviews for an aggressive marketing campaign," reports Meyer. In addition to HMS we are developing an entire slate of projects that have us all very excited." The development slate includes the expansion of HMS, unscripted reality programming, and talent showcases that will take initial form on the web through FilmStew.com and its syndicated subscribers. The web is an incredibly effective way for us to generate grass roots interest in our shows while at the same time re-packaging the our extensive pool of source material for broadcast and syndication," explains Hamdan, who in addition to being one of WGUPs founding partners is also the production companys Executive Vice President of Development and Marketing.

Gordon Meyer is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television where he produced or co-produced all-star tributes to the Walt Disney Studios, Neil Simon, Academy AwardŽ winning special effects master Albert Whitlock and Academy AwardŽ winning composer Jerry Goldsmith.
