The Armed Forces Radio Network is raising money to support the families of soldiers killed or critically injured in action.

(PRWEB) September 15, 2004 -- The Armed Forces Radio Network, an online streaming radio station dedicated to providing broadcast quality radio and information to the personnel of all divisions of the armed forces, police, and firefighters at home and around the world, has decided to raise and distribute funds to help those families torn apart to defend America".

Shaun Kroese, the owner of Armed Forces Radio Network who is better known as Koz on the air, said, There are services [to support the families of armed forces out there already, but we are going to go one step beyond the call of duty. We are there to assist for life—whatever is needed, we have taken it upon ourselves to be there. After all, they are fighting crime, corruption, fires, and a war for freedom."

I expect to pass through this world but once; any good things that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to my fellow creatures, let me show it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.
The Armed Forces Radio Network will provide funding for Housing, Medical, Scholarships, and many other needs to the families of armed forces members who have been killed or critically injured in the line of duty, as well as for victims of crime, terrorism, fires, and accidental death.

About Shaun Kroese
Shaun Kroese was in a serious head on collision in 1990 that took not only his ability to walk, but his house, his family, and many of his friends. After the accident, Shaun had nowhere to go. He eventually found an understanding landlord who gave him a place to stay, and a court order had his disability checks sent to him rather than his ex-wife. He went through months of rehabilitation and finally regained the ability to walk, but his experiences in life have led him to do what he can to help those around him. At this time, he is still receiving disability, however he was still able to take out a second mortgage on his home to purchase and maintain the Armed Forces Radio Network station. He continues to give as much as he can to serve his country and the people fighting to protect it, and asks only that others do the same.

There is a saying that Shaun tries to follow: "I expect to pass through this world but once; any good things that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to my fellow creatures, let me show it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again."
