The Big Air contest has recently been seen on ESPNs Great Outdoor Games and is now coming to El Campo, Texas as a part of the Macks Super Retriever Series event. This crowd-pleasing spectacle, along with the retriever trial competitions will air this coming Spring on ESPN2.

"Many different breeds of dogs will be competing in one of the most popular and entertaining canine contests around," says Shannon Nardi, Super Retriever Series executive producer. "We are expecting two intense days of competition for the audience, as well as some very talented dogs that may challenge the world record."
Big Air practice begins at 11:00 AM on Friday, with the first qualifying round starting at 2:00 PM. The competition will resume on the following day, Saturday at 9:00 AM, with only the top 25 teams advancing into the second round.

The Macks Super Retriever Series event will also feature some of the worlds best retriever dogs as they complete a series of timed trials in the open fields of Bay Prairie Outfitters. Dont forget, the world record long jump for the Big Air Contest is 26 feet and 6 inches and is always being tested.
The quest for Americas best dog and handler team begins in El Campo, Texas (Oct. 1-15), with additional qualifiers in Loudoun County, Virginia (April 7-9) and Stuttgart, Arkansas (May 5-7). The Macks Super Retriever Series season will culminate with The Championships in Hot Springs, Arkansas, June 10-11, 2005
All Super Retriever Series events will be televised on ESPN2 beginning Sunday, April 2 at 9:30 AM EST.
