Seminars are designed to provide effective marketing tools.

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) September 17, 2004 -- The High Tech Business Council of Rochester will kick off the 2004 Marketing Seminar Series with an informational event on September 21st at 5:30 pm in the RBA Building at 150 State Street. The event will feature a presentation by Maureen Howard, HTBCs new Executive Director, outlining the goals and benefits of the series and will include a networking reception.

HTBC has set an explicit goal of providing its members with resources to enable profitable growth" said Howard. The Marketing Seminar Series is just one example of how HTBC can help our technology businesses be more successful." Each seminar will cover a specific sales or marketing capability and will include a hands-on workshop and follow-up help with implementation.
The practical applications and practice are critical," said Howard. Weve ensured that each seminar has a consistent format and includes best practices proven to influence profitable growth. In addition, each session is structured to promote networking among our member businesses and support organizations so that they can form alliances and collaborate for growth."

The potential in these seminars extends beyond our current members," noted Howard. Any company in the telecommunication, information technology, and biotechnology industries can benefit from these growth blueprints. Early in the summer, Howard began working with a team of marketing experts to develop this years program. The team surveyed current members and used the findings to define the program topics and format.

The intellectual capability is here. HTBC is building a forum to help companies apply their sales and marketing resources effectively to realize that capability. This is where Chester Carlson and George Eastman created whole new industries. This is the birthplace of American Express and Gannet. We believe that members of the HTBC can extend our heritage of successful innovation well into the 21st century. Were helping them do it."
