Happy Days star joins Halo Studios as producer of new reality television show, "The Entrepreneur".
VENTURA, CA (PRWEB) September 17, 2004 -- Halo Studios announced today it has begun pre-production on an unscripted reality" based television show The Entrepreneur", whereby entrepreneurs from around the country submit their business plans or executive summaries for their chance to win start-up capital that could total up to $1 million and possibly a distribution deal with a major retailer.
The Entrepreneur" is expected to air 10-episodes in its first season and will showcase young entrepreneurs as they are put through real-life" challenges by a panel of celebrity judges. The show will feature three regular panelists, weekly guest panelists, which include venture capitalists, business tycoons and a world famous entrepreneur serving as the shows cornerstone decision maker.
Each week, the contestants navigate through a series of tasks in an effort to bring their product to the next level. Through an elimination process, only one company will be left standing. The whole idea behind the show is not only to entertain, but to educate young professionals on what its really like out in the business world. The investing community has changed substantially over the last few years, which has created a difficult environment for young professionals to get their companies off the ground," according to the companys Executive Producer, Marc Angell, We hope to bring some of these upstarts to the forefront by way of prime-time television while providing an entertaining show for the viewer."
Anson Williams, star of televisions Happy Days", joins the show as producer. Known not only for his success on the television show Happy Days", Anson is also a very successful television director and producer on such shows as Lizzie McGuire", Charmed", Melrose Place", L.A. Law", Star Trek", and many others. Most recently as a partner of StarMaker Products, Anson has become a successful entrepreneur by bringing a line of skin care products which are highly praised and long-time favorites of Hollywood professionals and insiders, to the consumer.
