Thriller and romance with some wonderfully comic moments, this book explores the lives and hidden agendas of expatriates living on this sunny coastline. Before you buy your dream villa you really must read Coke on the Rocks.

(PRWEB) September 19, 2004 -- This is not an expose of criminal activities along the coast, but a novel that embraces all aspects of life on the Costa del Sol including the families trying to make a new start, and the villains who are looking for the weak and vulnerable. The odd, the quaint and the evil live side by side and it can sometimes be difficult to know who is sleeping in your bed, and how well you really know the ones you love. You will come to know Charlie, Sophie intimately and wish you did not know Vladimir, Tarik and Terry quite so well.

Thankfully the Essex girls Sheryl and Tania are on hand to make light of the situation and you will sympathise with all of these colourful characters dilemmas as they cope with drug running, prostitution, extortion and just every day living. Through them you will see the darker side hidden behind the glossy and seductive covers of the high life magazines and brochures.

Following the murder of her first husband, Lucy Wright re-evaluated her life. She threw herself into her career and became a successful ‘therapist to the stars in one of Londons leading Psychiatric hospitals. She now lives on the Costa del Sol, where she juggles her career as a therapist with her role as resident counsellor on local English speaking television and radio. She gives advice to thousands of expatriates who have settled in Spain and is now teaching her therapy techniques to students along the coast. Although she has written many self-help articles this is her debut novel. It reflects a colourful past and an insight into the darker side of human nature.

Coke on the Rocks will be launched at a glittering event in Puerta Banus on October 4th

Coke on the Rocks ISBN 1-4120-2909-0 is available from Trafford Publishing.
