District grievance committees are charged with reviewing matters alleging attorney misconduct to determine whether the misconduct actually occurred, hearing evidence on disputed grievances, and imposing sanctions upon a finding of just cause. The committees are comprised of two-thirds attorneys and one-third non-attorneys.
