This press release provides an announcement to let the world learn that there is now a company in the United States that is manufacturing precious metal watch components in the USA.

Nederland, CO (PRWEB) September 23, 2004 - Montres Allison announced today that for several months it has been manufacturing 18k gold and platinum watch cases, dials, buckles, deployant clasps, and a variety of movement components for use in production timepieces, and boxes and in-store display units made from Aspen wood that are 'Made in the USA.' To be more specific, all of these items are made in Colorado, USA. This exciting news positions Montres Allison in a new, unique realm. Montres Allison is the only watch manufacturer in the world to produce these high grade components in the USA. Terry Allison, founder of Montres Allison said in a recent interview "Nobody else in the U.S. is doing this. A few other small watchmakers make "custom" watches, but they purchase all of their components from other manufacturers, as we used to do. Now, Montres Allison is setting the standard for the comeback of high-end watch production in America."

According to the Federal Trade Commission, "Made in USA" means that "all or virtually all" the product has been made in America. That is, all significant parts, processing and labor that go into the product must be of U.S. origin. Products should not contain any - or only negligible - foreign content. Montres Allison is proud to announce that all of the above listed components are entirely made in the USA and do not contain any foreign content.

We are using a variety of equipment for metallurgy, machining, and finishing work including CNC and EDM machines. In addition to all of this, we're using a vintage hand operated straight line engine and a 180-year-old, hand-operated rose engine, made in Switzerland, to perform the guilloche work and some movement-component work, which are elements connoisseurs really look for in the highest quality timepieces.

Montres Allison timepieces carry 1000 month warranties (83 1/3 years).

Montres Allison cordially invites anybody with an interest to visit the watch manufacturing facilities in the mountains west of Denver, Colorado USA. Please contact Montres Allison for a scheduled appointment due to security concerns.
