"HIV Test Victim" Sues Roche Diagnostics for Life-Changing HIV False-Positive Diagnosis

Suit filed under the Consumer Protection Act of the State of Kansas (04/12/04) claims HIV test makers have engaged in unconscionable acts of deception, willfully using exaggeration, falsehood, suppression, innuendo, ambiguity and omission to misrepresent the test's benefits, accuracy and scientific validity.

(PRWEB) September 29, 2004 -- Public hearing of background to civil suit filed under the Consumer Protection Act of the State of Kansas (04/12/04). Presentation and discussion with plaintiff Kim Marie Bannon, who argues that the HIV test makers have engaged in unconscionable acts of deception, willfully using exaggeration, falsehood, suppression, innuendo, ambiguity and omission to misrepresent the test's benefits, accuracy and scientific validity.

WHERE:
Source of Life Conference Center
352 Seventh Avenue, 16th Floor
(between 29th & 30th Streets)
NYC

WHEN: Wednesday, September 29, 2004, 7 PM -9:30 PM

Is the HIV Test Scientifically Valid? Imagine a blood test that strikes terror in people's hearts. Imagine a blood test that can destroy a person's life with a "positive" result - that people use as the basis for their decision to take potentially life-threatening medications. Imagine still others dying of heart, liver, pancreatic, kidney or respiratory failure - treatment "side effects" - as a result of decisions that were based on a simple blood test. At the very least, one would hope that we could trust the validity of that blood test! Join us for this definitive challenge to the claim that testing HIV-positive is proof of HIV infection.

As a special bonus, Dr. Harvey Bialy, author, internationally distinguished scientist and former Scientific Editor of Nature Biotechnology – the first science journal to challenge the HIV tests - is flying in from Mexico and will read from his exciting new book, ONCOGENES, ANEUPLOIDY AND AIDS. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Roberto Giraldo, MD will make a special appearance, updating us on his worldwide efforts to provide solutions to the challenges of AIDS, & alerting us to information concerning past "HIV-related" lawsuits.

"Never mind that HIV-antibody tests have never been validated by a gold standard. Even if they were, testing positive on an antibody test is evidence for past exposure and not active infection, a fact which clearly supports Ms Bannon's claims for extreme psychological abuse and scientific fraud!" Rev Dr Michael Ellner, President, HEAL
