U2 has dazzled fans for over 22 years with groundbreaking sounds and heart stopping live performances. Now Scottsdale, AZ will get a chance to hear and see what people around the US are saying is as close to witnessing a true U2 show experience as one can get.
(PRWEB) September 30, 2004 -- As the buzz begins to swirl about the real Irish super group U2 and their first album in four years, "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb". Fans all over are anxious to hear and see the group soon.
Well, at least U2 fans in Phoenix area will be able to get their fix until the real "U2" arrives some time next year during their upcoming tour. Maesche Entertainment Group is proud to present the Ultimate U2 Tribute Experience, "Elevation"! They don't hail from a small Irish town, nor have they played in front of millions of fans, but if you look past the small stage, study the mannerisms of the groups exact look alike of "Bono," and closely listen, "Elevation" comes across as smooth as a live performance by the real U2.
The band, currently making appearances around the US and recent appearances on national TV, has an attention to detail that's remarkable. Danno "Bono" Burrow arms himself with U2-type props, such as a spotlight, and isn't afraid to mix with the crowd or hang from balconies while performing.
"His looks and energy with the band's sound is what the crowd becomes lost in," said Greg 'The Edge' Flamm. "We're not saying it's exactly like a U2 show, but we have captured the essence of one.
With Bono's mannerisms and exact look, even down to his $500 dollar sunglasses. Dan Burrow is "Bono", with out a doubt. "We go the extra three or four miles. It's not that we play the music; we do the whole show, we become U2 on stage."
Their set list is pretty impressive with over 40 songs to cull from. And Of course they play the staples, such as "With or Without You" and "Where the Streets Have No Name," but they mix in older material and more obscure tracks like the b-side "Party Girl" and they have even just added U2's latest release, "Vertigo", from U2's yet to be released album.
The "Elevation" band members enjoy playing the outdoor festivals and have played before fans in the Cayman Islands, Europe, Las Vegas and at the opening of the '20 Years of U2' exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in Cleveland. They are also scheduled to play the Los Angeles U2 Fan Celebration on October 10th.
Elevation will be performing at the "Venue of Scottsdale" for one night only, October 7th doors open at 7PM.
