Traditional Investor Relations Firms are Under Attack

Some IR/PR firms that use conventional methods of marketing are finding the increased costs associated with their efforts are being thwarted by firms that are on the cutting edge of technology relating to marketing. Internet marketing can reach larger and more targeted market segments at lower costs.

St. George, UT (PRWEB) September 2, 2004 -- Paul J. Ford CEO of MediaRight out of St. George, Utah, while talking to a group of business professionals said, "Marketing, is making the public think that your gig is the most important thing in the world today." He went on to say that "the public" is your target audience, whether they be investors, consumers, or other companies.

Ford indicated, "The more things change, the more they stay the same." He then talked about Victor Hugo, stating, "His authoritative grasp on language, vocabulary, and culture, made him the most descriptive author of his time and yet today he still reigns as one of the finest authors of all time. Who are the Hugo's of the business world? They are the companies that have branded themselves so definitively that you ask for their product, when you are really just asking for something in general. "Get me a Coke," for example, when all you really meant was, "I need a drink, anything will do."

The greatest marketing companies today are Google and Yahoo. Marketing companies that want to stay in the game will develop their technologies that piggy back off of large search engines, those that don't will be a thing of the past." Investor Relations firms should seek out firms such as MediaRight in order to optimize their client's dollars.

Ford would be considered an 'eternal optimist' that brings added light to any conference or conversation, with a touch of humor and wit that has secured his success in the business arena. His dynamic style coupled with MediaRight products, give everyone a positive outlook on the future, and where the world of business is headed.
