Marvin Neer uses laser technology to create unique and fabulous art images.
Christmas Day I devoted to creating spiritual laser images like the holy cross, angels and three incredible photos that look to be Mother Mary riding her donkey. Youre just not supposed to get this type of image from lasers. That day I created some of the most astounding images I've ever seen.

Brighton, CO (PRWEB) January 19, 2005 -- In addition to his wildly successful Granite Illuminations, Marvin Neer now introduces Laser Illuminations, a collection of spectacular art works using laser technology. With just two or three hand held lasers and an unknown process, he has created astounding effects that equal any Star Trek or deep space image.

"If my images can make a contribution to science and or technology, that would be my greatest achievement," says Mr. Neer.

Utilizing lasers as a part of his Granite Illumination process, One day I hit a fine lead crystal with a red laser. It started to sparkle like nothing I had ever seen before. One beam turned in to thousand more beams, scattering and bouncing," tells Mr. Neer. "Images appeared on the walls around me from the light reflecting off the crystal."

This led him to develop as many as 300 to 400 different process techniques to harness this new medium, clearly showing the evolution from first discovery until today.

As he creates these images, he photographs them at the same time. Mr. Neer explains, "This is the ‘tricky part because the image appears for an instant only and can never be re-created identically again." Mr. Neer feels that this also allows his creativity to emerge like never before by creating some of the finest abstract art the world has ever seen, with images that change just by turning the work 90 degrees.

The most amazing part of this whole experience is when special images appear out of no where. For instance, Mr. Neer recounts, "Christmas Day I devoted to creating spiritual laser images like the holy cross, angels and three incredible photos that look to be Mother Mary riding her donkey. Youre just not supposed to get this type of image from lasers. That day I created some of the most astounding images I've ever seen."

Marvin Neers remarkable Granite Illuminations may be viewed on his new and updated website at www.graniteilluminations.com. Mr. Neers laser technology works of art are available by visiting www.laserilluminations.com or www.abs-gallery.com.
