(May 27-29, 2005) a festival about empowering females in media entertainment and Foundation Films Distribution (FFD) will be representing the festival films into distribution through its distribution alliances.

FLM movies are available on Sprints channel 19 for $4.95 per month.

LA Femme Film Festival is more than a festival it is an celebration of artistic professional women who can make a difference in the entertainment community by creating productions that speak to a world wide audience. We are the only festival of its kind to not only platform existing films and artists but we will also distribute through Foundation Films Distribution (FFD) formed by Leslie LaPage and David Aion (David Aion: Formerly of Lincoln Media Group, American Film Partners and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of Women in Film) filmmakers and their films. This pioneering business model will allow independent filmmakers entered in the competition categories of the festival to receive distribution representation through FFD.
In addition to our Executive Team at LA Femme Film Festival, Kiki Melendez (CEO of Latin Hollywood Films and Creator of the hit comedy variety show Hot Tamales Live) had joined us as Director of Industry Relations. We are also associated with the non-profit organization Sisters in Survival; (President: Jennifer E. Vaughan)- This organizations mission is to provide in educational services for those in domestic violent relationships as well as bringing awareness to society in the ongoing struggle to stop domestic violence. A portion of our proceeds will be donated to the above non-profit, Sisters in Survival.
