Moritex will become the exclusive distributor for Phoseon's MX Series of Infra-Red Inspection systems for semiconductor applications. Moritex will also become a stetegic investor in Phoseon as part of Phoseon's Series B investment round.
Beaverton, OR (PRWEB) January 24, 2005 -- Phoseon Technology and Moritex Corporation today announced a strategic cooperation that will initially focus on the Phoseon MX Series of infrared optical systems for inspection and measurement of silicon based structures such as MEMS and Flip Chips. As part of the agreement Moritex will become the sole distributor for the Phoseon Technology MX line of products in Japan. In addition both companies will cooperate closely on the development of advanced infrared inspection and metrology solutions for the semiconductor packaging industry. Lastly, Moritex has agreed to contribute a strategic investment in Phoseon Technology as part of Phoseons Series B funding round.
