Internationally acclaimed, award-winning poet, activist, screenwriter, actor and producer Jeanne Marie Spicuzza stars in "Field Day," a fast-paced, controversial high definition short film now available on DVD. Cinematographer John OShaughnessy ("Shooter") makes his directorial debut.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 24, 2005 -- Sometimes the horrors of the past are the lessons of the future. A student of American history is introduced to a new way of thinking by three young friends, who invite her to partake in "war games." The group sets out and soon learns about the nature of survival and conquest while confronted by the question, "What is the true cost of war?" Only their experience in "Field Day" can answer.

With a stellar cast, including Will Keir, Billy Bradley and Robert DoBrev, brought forth by casting director Davida Vaccaro (ABC's 'The Bachelor' series), along with costume designer Lisa Ormiston ("Bathing in Absentia") and the talents of producer Isabelle Stead, "Field Day" is vividly realized through a surprising transformation that will shock audiences worldwide. The film premiered to audiences at Raleigh Studios' Chaplin Theatre in Los Angeles in October 2004 to much enthusiasm and praise.

"Field Day" is distributed by Inoculation Group, a division of Seasons & a Muse, Inc., and is available through Amazon.com. A percentage of profits are donated to non-profit peace organizations. For more information, contact Seasons & a Muse at info@seasonsandamuse.com.
