Why the Tsunami hurts even where it never hit.
(PRWEB) January 26, 2005 -- When the Tsunami hit Southasia, there was in no way the Idea that it could impact our World any further than within its Boundaries of destruction. All over the world the "giving" of the people for the Victims of the Catastrophy reached unbelievable Numbers.
It seemed very encouraging how the World Community reached out in a mutual effort to help. However the awakening for the many small NGO's serving other projects all over the World was terrible. Eventually they realized that the money for their operating Projects started trippling and somehow stopped all together. So the Tsunami causes a second human Catastrophe, because People started to withdraw there support, to release Funds to help in Southasia. The ROL Foundation is one of those who have been hit badly.
The Regency of Lomar (ROL), first founded in 1997, is a sovereign international humanitarian council of people fighting for the dignity of all humankind. It is also a non-governmental organization (NGO) providing medical and humanitarian aid, educational assistance, and documentation aid to refugees and other unrooted, deprived and unrepresented people.
The organization also serves local and rural development, sustainable economy and ecology (energy), healthcare, etc. ROL has a membership of volunteers representing 85 nations, with established missions and registered offices in more than a dozen countries worldwide. Current Projects include the sustainable Development of a whole District in the Kumbo Region in Cameroon. Here ROL with its local Partners develops Computerschools, Health Centers, local Industries, HIV projects etc.
There is a severe Drainage of Funding now , and all the work is on the Brim.
Therefore we direct an urgent Appeal to all goodwilled People to continue to help ROL and all the other cooperating NGO'S that need funding so badly to keep their humanitarian infrastructures up.
