Corporate E-Learning to Parallel Growth in Technology and Connectivity

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 26, 2005 -- Recent 2005 predictions and year end studies estimate the online training market will continue to grow exponentially with technology delivered e-Learning increasing 35% per year, and more.

The US corporate e-Learning market is estimated to reach $23.7 Billion in 2006 according to the Bloor Research Enterprise Content Management and Collaboration practice's report on important trends for 2005.

Forrester Research: Trends 2005 forecasts web-based training to experience continued growth, with robust growth in (HCM) Human Capital Management as companies deploy HCM solutions to better optimize their intangible assets.

ASDT's 2004 State of the Industry Report shows the use of technology for delivering learning increased almost 30% in mid-size companies and close to 35% in larger companies in 2004, and will continue to increase in 2005.

According to Bersin & Associates 2004 e-Learning Research Year in Review: Predictions for 2005, as much as $12-14 Billion of total training content, services and technology is now dedicated to e-Learning.

Dave Meyer, CEO and President of Training4Business, is predicting the same levels of percentage increases for his companys product, CourseWare, an e-Learning software product for customized training incorporating step-by-step proven learning methods.

"Our customers are from varied industries and one-for-one they report increased efficiency that has resulted in increased productivity and profitability as a result of online training," says Meyer. "Whatever their size or needs, we are able to provide them with affordable, effective e-Learning that works. Training4Business has grown mainly because our customers have expanded their online training programs and referred their associates to us."

Pew Internet & American Life Project recently released their Future of the Internet survey, conducted to forecast the next decade of Internet development. Participants included many scientists and engineers who created the first Internet architecture a decade ago, along with current technology leaders in corporations, media, government and higher education.

These experts agreed that broadband adoption will grow, broadband speeds will improve, and vastly more people and objects will be linked online in the next decade. Respondents rated a list of institutions (on a scale of 1 to 10) in regard to their likelihood for change due to the impact of the Internet. Education (7.98) and Workplace (7.64) were the 2nd and 3rd highest responses, preceded only by news organizations/publishing (8.46).

E-Learning has definitely become increasingly mainstream in every corner of the globe, in every area of learning.

With 98% of surveyed Fortune 100 company employees responding that they would choose e-Learning once they had been exposed to online courses, there's no doubt online training is slated for unprecedented growth.
